Title: "Deception, Distraction, Delusion"

Scripture: 2 Thessalonians 2:16-17 / Psalm 84:5

Now may our Lord Jesus Christ Himself and God our Father, who has loved us and given us eternal comfort and good hope by grace, comfort and strengthen your hearts in every good work and word.

How blessed is the man whose strength is in You; In whose heart are the highways to Zion!

Observation: What is God saying to me?

Where does your strength come from? How is your heart strengthened?
You live in a time of great deception and distraction. People all over the world are deceived and deluded into trusting and gaining strength from falsehood. People grasp for temporary sources of strength and act as if they stand in security. But NOT you! Your strength comes from Me. When delusions, deceptions and distractions seek to steal your life and family I will guard and protect you all. Place all trust in Me and get your strength from no other source. I AM your Source of Strength. In your heart is the highway to heaven.

Application: What will I do about it?

Like never before, we turn our hearts, minds and strength toward Jesus.
We make personal and public declarations of who He is and what He has done. We do not fall prey to deception, distraction and delusion. Instead we declare with absolute certainty and conviction that God is our Source of Strength, the only One we trust and there is no other God but Him.

Prayer:

Jesus, plant deep in our hearts and minds this conviction. We only find strength in You. You are the only sure foundation and the One we Trust!

I Am Grateful For… our Source of Strength and a Highway to Heaven
