Title: “Gifts to Give”

Scripture: 1 Timothy 4:14,15

14 Do not neglect the spiritual gift you received through the prophecy spoken over you when the elders of the church laid their hands on you. 15 Give your complete attention to these matters. Throw yourself into your tasks so that everyone will see your progress.

Observation: What is God saying to me?

I’ve given you gifts. Are you activated in your gifts? Gifts are meant to be given. I gave them to you so that you can give them to others. The gift was passed to you and you are meant to pass it along too. Put your focus on developing the gifts I have given you and then give them away.

Application: What will I do about it?

Declutter your life a little bit. Stop being distracted by things that don’t bring true satisfaction. Using your gifts is what builds you up and builds others up. Use them. Declutter your life and mind so there are no excuses.

Prayer:

Jesus, thank You for giving us gifts that we in turn get to give. Stir excitement in our hearts to be givers of the good gifts you have given us.
