Neal’s Lit Word

Title: “The Crazy of Lazy”

Scripture: Proverbs 26:13-14

The sluggard says, “There is a lion in the road! A lion in the open square!”
As the door turns on its hinges, so does the sluggard on his bed.
The sluggard buries his hand in the dish;
And then is too tired to bring his hand to his mouth.

Observation: What is God saying to me?

When you see something that needs to get done, a problem that needs solving or an enemy that needs to be dealt with, go after it. Don’t be caught in the crazy of being lazy. Smack the slack, stay on track and help others do the same.

Application: What will I do about it?

There are many obstacles in the way, there are many enemies to the kingdom that are gaining ground in our culture. Yes, you need to rest, this isn’t a matter of that. Rest when it’s time to rest. BUT and it’s a BIG BUT.
Get more clear and targeted on what God is speaking to do and use your time wisely, bringing tactical actions to completion. Choose your actions wisely, calculate actions for maximum impact. Make a list and prioritize it today.

Prayer:

Jesus, I never want to be included with the sluggard, but I do want to learn from them. Please Lord, give me wisdom to know what to do and not do to maximize impact for your kingdom to come on earth as it is in heaven! Amen

I Am Grateful For… motivation to move forward
