Title: “Close to the King”

Scripture: Hebrews 10:39

But we do not belong to those who shrink back and are destroyed, but to those who have faith and are saved.

Observation: What is God saying to me?

You belong to Me. You live by faith in Me. The pull of the world wants to drag you back into destruction. The goal of Satan is to destroy you. He brings fear, frustration and opposition to bring you to a point of breakdown. Don’t shrink back! Stand in faith and the victory I have for you. I overcame the work of Satan, the destroyer, so that all you have to do is stay close to me. Don’t shrink back, press into Me!

Application: What will I do about it?

It’s time to press into the Spirit even more. The only place of peace and rest is close to the King. We find safety and shelter in His presence. We need more of His presence today.

Prayer:

Holy God, thank You for your presence. We need You Lord. Thank You for overcoming the enemy and giving us faith to draw near to You.
