Title: “Reject Lesser Living”

Scripture:

Hebrews 13:5
Make sure that your character is free from the love of money, being content with what you have; for He himself has said, “I will never leave you, and I will never forsake you.”

Observation: What is God saying to me?

Don’t let your gifting take you where your character cannot keep you.
Gifts when not coupled with character can cause a train wreck. Your character has to be free from chasing after things more than you chase after Me. I am the Lord, your provider. I will always make a way for you because of My love for you. I am the lover of your soul. When you allow your love for Me to be your greatest passion, the rest of life falls into place.

Application: What will I do about it?

God will not desert us. He will hold us and keep us near to His heart. Anything that draws or pulls you from the heart of God needs to be put in check, repented of and rejected. Make the Most High God, your Most High Chase.

Prayer:

Holy Spirit, point out any ways in our hearts that our character is keeping us stuck in lesser living. When You point it out to us, give us the wisdom and strength to put character in check. In Jesus’ Name, Amen!
