Title: True Religion

Scripture: James 1:27

Religion that God accepts as pure and faultless is this, to watch after orphans and widows and keep yourself from being polluted by the world.

Observation: What is God saying to me?

Son and Daughter… I care about the broken hearted. I care about the fatherless and the motherless. I care about the ones who have lost the ones they love. Pure religion is not being perfect, it’s being broken, accepting My love and giving My love to those who are broken too. It’s not the healthy who need a doctor, it’s the sick.

Application: What will I do about it?

Today we must look for ways to help the broken and make our religious focus caring for those who are hurting and bringing healing in His name.

Prayer:

Jesus, thank You for rescuing broken people and helping us in times of hurt. We need you to teach us true religion. Amen! 

I Am Grateful For… Religion that God accepts… and showing us the religion that He rejects.
