Neal’s Lit Word
Title: “Within Me”
Scripture: Psalm 119:9-11
9 How can a young person stay on the path of purity?
By living according to your word.
10 I seek you with all my heart; do not let me stray from your commands.
11 I have hidden your word in my heart that I might not sin against you.
Observation: What is God saying to me?
This method of staying on the right pack isn’t just for the “young person.” Living according to the Word is for all people. Seek Me with all your heart, hide My word in your heart, no one can snatch it out of you. This will keep you close to Me because My words contain My life. When you learn to live and contain My words within you, then I am wherever you are. Do this when you are young, and you will save yourself many pains and heartaches when you are old.
Application: What will I do about it?
Each morning, we must make a priority to strengthen the word within us. Mediate on verses of scripture, think deeply on the largeness of God and imagine all of Him indwelling and filling all of you. Then you will see the unity of Spirit that Jesus died for you and I to possess. Perfect love, the love of God, born and wrapped in your heart.
Prayer:
Jesus, thank You for making a way for us to be one with You. Fill us today, teach us to meditate on Your word, bring unity between our spirits and Yours. Holy Spirit we invite you into our hearts. Amen
I Am Grateful For… the Word which dwells within.
