Title: “God Chaser”

Scripture: Hosea 5:15

I will go away and return to My place until they acknowledge their guilt and seek My face; In their affliction they will earnestly seek Me.

Observation: What is God saying to me?

Sometimes I have to get your attention and the best way to get it is to allow you to feel the weight of your decisions. When you run away from Me, eventually your decisions will catch up with you and affliction shows up in your life. When you turn toward Me, acknowledge Me and seek My face I come out of hiding and show up to support and rescue you in your affliction.

Application: What will I do about it?

It always boils down to being a God Chaser. It's also important to be aware of ourselves and our motives. The inward desire of our hearts is what God is gauging, yet our actions should support the inward desires. Make sure the outside is aligning with the inside and you are chasing God today!

Prayer:

Lord, thank You for showing up in my life time and time again. Cause the chase in Me to increase and the desire to seek to soar like never before. Amen!
