Title: “Greatest Growth”
Scripture: Psalm 126:5
They who sow in tears shall reap with joyful singing.
Observation: What is God saying to me?
My child, I see your pain, sorrow and struggle. No matter how you arrived in this place, I see and know every heartache that brought these tears. Keep your heart fixed on Me. Don’t allow the waves of life to bring you to a place of complete destruction. Keep your eyes locked on mine. The sorrow lasts a short while, joy comes in the morning. I am the Lord, your Helper, Redeemer and Friend.
Application: What will I do about it?
Steadfast trust in the middle of the storm is the place of our greatest growth. Hold on to hope. Fix your eyes and heart on the Redeemer. Let the tears flow and and watch the seeds grow. The seeds that have been planted in your life are being watered with your tears. The tears have been many, the harvest will be great.
Prayer:
Father, thank You for caring about our tears. Thank You for seeing our struggle and sending a harvest of joy that follows behind our pain. We receive your love and care today. We are grateful! Amen.
I Am Grateful For… growth through seasons of sorrow
