Title: “Protection and Success”

Scripture: Psalm 127:1

Unless the Lord builds the house,
They labor in vain who build it;
Unless the Lord guards the city,
The watchman keeps awake in vain.

Observation: What is God saying to me?

My child, what are you banking on for building, protection and success? Priority #1 is to put your hope and trust in Me. Your hard work without My effort will not get you anywhere. You standing guard and watching closing to protect yourself from the enemy without My protection will not keep you safe at all. Put first things first in your life. Bank on My support and follow the leadings and whispers I speak to you. Listen intently and you will have success and protection in whatever you are directed to accomplish.

Application: What will I do about it?

Start the day by aligning your ambitions with the Lord. Ask the Holy Spirit to search your heart and mind to point out any mixed up way within you. As He points out places you are out of order, ask for forgiveness and invite the Holy Spirit to realign you with Him. He gets first place and priority in all things. Apart from Him we can do nothing that lasts.

Prayer:

Holy Spirit, have Your way in my life. Build, lead, guide, protect and tell us where to go. We are your servants who want Your way and not our own. Amen!
