Title: “Fruitful Faith”

Scripture: Matthew 21:22

And all things you ask in prayer, believing, you shall receive.

Observation: What is God saying to me?

Fruitlessness is a product of faithlessness. Faith without works is a dead, lifeless faith. Life bears fruit. When something is alive it produces fruit. You can tell the quality and type of tree by looking at the fruit or lack of fruit it produces. “Truly I say to you, if you have fruitful faith you can say to the mountain, ‘Be taken up and cast into the sea,’ and it shall happen. What is happening in your life right now? Is your life bearing fruit or lacking it? Make sure you are connected to Me, the healthy vine, and you will bear much fruit and the fruit will remain. If you are lacking fruit, get to the root of the problem through connecting with Me. Connected, you will be an extension of My life and faith filled prayer will cause mountains to move and your tree to explode with fruitfulness.

Application: What will I do about it?

Begin to prune the activities of your life to build a community of fruitfulness. Through connecting with Jesus, eliminating non fruit bearing activities and calling those who the Lord reveals to be people of peace, you will bear fruit and build a community of fruitfulness.

Prayer:

Holy Spirit, thank You for pruning my life and pointing out places where I am undone, overgrown and needing to cut back. As You point out what needs to be pruned, I will prayerfully, faithfully take those steps to be and to build Your temple and kingdom, I am Your house of prayer and I’m called to build houses of prayer, faith filled followers of Jesus, empowered by the Holy Spirit. Amen!
