Title: : “Gaze on God”

Scripture: Psalm 27:3,4

3 Though a host encamp against me, my heart will not fear; Though war arises against me, in spite of this I shall be confident.
4 One thing I have asked from the Lord, that I shall seek: That I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the Lord, and to meditate in His temple.

Observation: What is God saying to me?

Are the things that are surrounding you causing you to be afraid of destruction? Don’t listen to the threats of the adversary. The adversary supports your “adverse conditions” and wants you to focus on fear, overwhelm and destruction. In spite of the threats of the enemy, though a war arises against your soul, take confidence in this ▶ ️ I am the strong tower and fortress you can run to and always find relief. When you make this “One Thing” the most important thing you seek, I train you to stand in My presence. Permission is granted for you to gaze upon My beauty, to dwell in My house, to meditate in My temple.

Application: What will I do about it?

Move deeper into the dwelling place of the Most High. Set your gaze on God and simply glance at your problems bringing your continual attention back to mediation, presence, prayer and power.

Prayer:

Lord, You have always been my helper. Even when my sights were not set on You, You never took your eyes off of me. Thank you for granting me the request of dwelling in your presence. Please show me more of your beauty.
