Title: “Wisdom’s Value”

Scripture: Proverbs 8:11, Psalm 31:2,3

Wisdom is better than jewels; and all desirable things cannot compare with her.

Incline your ear to me, rescue me quickly; Be to me a rock of strength, a stronghold to save me. For You are my rock and fortress; For your name's sake You will lead me and guide me.

Observation: What is God saying to me?

Where does your rescue come from? Do you sometimes think money will solve your problems? If you only had “X” then you would be ok. I am offering you exactly what you need to navigate life. Wisdom cries out to fools and lost people who need rescuing and says “listen to me.” Jesus is the wisdom of God in bodily form. Holy Spirit is the wisdom of God dwelling in you. The only thing you really need is to listen and obey. When you do that, all the other worries of life will be handled for you, because you operate in wisdom. Wisdom is better than gold.

Application: What will I do about it?
My child, incline your ear to the still small voice inside you. It isn’t complicated to understand, in fact it’s so obvious and simple that sometimes you don’t think it’s Me. I will lead you and guide you. I am your stronghold, shelter, safety and rescue. Listen to Me, I will deliver you and lead you to a fruitful land.

Prayer:

Jesus, thank you for making wisdom available to me. Increase my desire for it, Lord. Amen
