Title: “Walk in Freedom”

Scripture: Deuteronomy 5:6-10

'‘I am the Lord your God who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of slavery. ‘You shall have no other gods before Me. ‘You shall not make for yourself an idol, or any likeness of what is in heaven above or on the earth beneath or in the water under the earth. You shall not worship them or serve them; for I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children, and on the third and the fourth generations of those who hate Me, but showing lovingkindness to thousands, to those who love Me and keep My commandments.'

Observation: What is God saying to me?

Remember where you have come from but more importantly get it in your mind that I’m leading you to a good land. You are not destined to slavery, you are not called to be stuck in the sickness and prison of sin. I have made a way for you to walk in freedom, both you and all those who come after you. Follow close so you do not lose your way. I will lead you down a path of blessing and all of the hindrances that have held you back will be a thing of the past and a story to share of the power that led you to a land of blessing and prosperity. You will be blessed to be a blessing to those around you.

Application: What will I do about it?

Worship the Lord with your life. With your whole heart set your gaze on the goodness and mercy of God. When He points out a problem don’t see it as defeat. Look at the problem differently. When you spot the problem it’s because God is letting you see the problem. When you spot it, He’s got it! Give your problems to the Lord and watch as He makes a way through obstacles with His mighty hand.

Prayer:

Jesus, You have never failed to make a way. Your faithfulness has been proven time and again over the days of this journey with You. Apart from you there is no hope. With You, hope from the Holy Spirit lights the way through every hardship! Allow me to worship through rest and trust. Give me grace to enjoy the leading of the Lord throughout the day. Amen!

I Am Grateful For… rest on every side and peace to stand in security.
