Title: “Fit Test”
Scripture: Luke 9:62
Jesus replied, “No one who puts a hand to the plow and looks back is fit for service in the kingdom of God.”
Observation: What is God saying to me?
How do you know if you are fit for service?
First let’s look at 3 stages of “fit development.”
Stage 1: Not Fit
Stage 2: Getting Fit
Stage 3: Fit
Getting fit is about focus and action. Even “Fit Folks” have to stay focused to keep their fitness. When we lose focus we lose fitness.
When it comes to service in the kingdom of God focus is a critical component. You can have your hands on the plow of service but have your eyes focus on what’s behind you and lose your fitness. In order to get fit and stay fit, put your hands on the plow and set your attention on the King who directs His kingdom. Focus and action is how we get and stay fit.
Application: What will I do about it?

Prayer:
Jesus, You have impacted my life at the deepest level. I want to begin to train with you intentionally each day. Gather me, guide me, grow me. In Jesus name. Amen
