Neal’s Lit Word
Title: “True Provision”
Scripture: Luke 12:31-32
31 But seek His kingdom, and these things will be added to you. 32 Do not be afraid, little flock, for your Father has chosen gladly to give you the kingdom.
Observation: What is God saying to me?
Don’t fear the priority shift I am asking you to make. Your trust will be challenged because your natural wiring is “self preservation.” When you put all of your trust in Me, I provide for you in ways you wouldn’t expect. When you put your top priority on providing for yourself, forgetting where your true provision comes from, your life and mind are wrapped in low level, earthly concerns. Shift your focus, abandon self preservation, live in faith like never before and you will have access to the fullness of My kingdom.
Application: What will I do about it?
Step into heavenly space by standing on the identity of being a child of God who is seated with Christ in heavenly realms. Make up your mind today, connect your deep interior belief on who God says you are. A child of God seated in heavenly space.
Prayer:
Lord, thank you for the most precious gift and position in your kingdom. Though we don’t deserve it, you generously place us in the closest of spaces. Help us remember and lean into this identity today. Amen!
