Title: “Shift Modes, Slay Giants”

Scripture: 1 Samuel 17:36, 45-47

David said to the King, “Your servant has killed both the lion and the bear; and this (Giant named Goliath) will be like one of them, since he has taunted the armies of the living God.”
Then David said to Goliath, “You come to me with sword and spear, (I am physically outmatched) but I come to you in the name of the Lord of hosts, the God of the armies of Israel, who you have taunted. 46 This day the Lord will deliver you into my hands and I will strike you down and remove your head. 47 And all these people will know that the Lord does not deliver by sword or spear; for the battle is the Lord’s and He will give you into our hands.”

Observation: What is God saying to me?

What giant is constantly taunting you, causing you to shrink back in fear and not step out in trust and faith? Shift your mindset from how big the giant is and lock it onto how big I, the Lord your God is. No giant can defeat you when you are commissioned by Me. When all circumstances seem to be bigger than your strength and your skills you must know and remember that I am BIGGER than anything that comes against you. Finances, relationships, additions, despair, hopelessness and many other things can all be giants that keep you stuck in fear. These giants are specks of dust to Me. Nothing you face is too big for Me. Place all of your trust in Me and then step out in courage to face the giants. I have been training you for war since you were young, you are prepared for victory because of what I have taught, but most importantly because I am with you and not against. If God is for you, then who or what can stand against you and win? NOTHING!

Application: What will I do about it?

Mind shift. Power shift. Faith shift. Trust shift.
It’s time to shift into a mode.
Declare victory in the Jesus name, not trusting in your own greatness and strength but His. Declare victory in Jesus name, place all trust and certainty that the Lord fights on your behalf and the victory is already won.

Prayer:

Jesus, I declare in your name, the giants will fall, the mountains will move.
In You, I am fully equipped to deliver and stand in victory, not by my might, not by my power, but by Your Spirit. Amen!
