Title: “Door to Divine”

Scripture: John 3:3,4

3 Jesus answered and said to him, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born again he cannot see the kingdom of God.”
4 Nicodemus *said to Him, “How can a man be born when he is old? He cannot enter a second time into his mother’s womb and be born, can he?”

Observation: What is God saying to me?

If you want to see beyond what your natural eyes are able to see then you must be born of the Spirit. Flesh gives birth to flesh, Spirit gives birth to Spirit. If you want to see with spiritual eyes into the realms of what I am doing then come to Me. I will awaken your heart, open your eyes and cause you to be born again. You can’t do this without Me, nor can you see without Me. I want to open your eyes so you can see what I am doing in you, around you and through you.

Application: What will I do about it?

We must continually ask, seek and knock on the door of the Spirit. As we do we are invited into the house to sit at the table. There we get to dine with the divine, grow in His grace and learn from the very One who made us.

Prayer:

In Jesus’ name, we come to you. He is our door to the divine. He is our covering, we do not come to You in our own name or by our own strength and talent. Open the door Lord, allow us to see, allow us to experience Your goodness and grace. Amen!
