Title: “Baptized in the Spirit”

Scripture: John 14:26

But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, who the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all that I said to you.

Observation: What is God saying to me?

Some things are meant to be remembered and other things need to be forgotten. This is why I have given the Holy Spirit to those who sincerely want to know Me from the depth of their hearts. I baptize you with the Holy Spirit, this means you are immersed in the Spirit and the Spirit is immersed in you. This is essential to victorious living. Without the Holy Spirit you are a forgetful hearer, with the Holy Spirit you are an effectual doer. Through My Spirit I will teach you and through My Spirit I will help you remember and bring to your mind the things I have taught you at the moment you need it.

Application: What will I do about it?

Purge your heart and mind of anything toxic through baptism in the Holy Spirit. Pray and press into the Spirit and as you do He will clean your internal house. Praying and purging without the Holy Spirit is not possible because only the Spirit can get rid of the rodents that hide in your walls. Your job is to invite the house cleaner, His job is to work with you to clean the house. Remember this because it is the Way to victory.

Prayer:

Holy Spirit, help me remember how to stay on the way. You’re my Teacher and Trainer, You are the One who helps me remember the Way. I submit to You in the power of the Holy Spirit. Amen
