Neal’s Lit Word

Title: Words, Works and Wonders

Scripture: Psalm 119:99,103

99 I have more insight than all my teachers,
For Your testimonies are my meditation.

103 How sweet are Your words to my taste!
Yes, sweeter than honey to my mouth!

Observation: What is God saying to me?

If insight and understanding are what you are looking for then you must meditate (dwell on or think about) what I have done in your life. When you focus on what I have done you will gain confidence for what I am doing and will do in the future. Not only should you dwell on (meditate) on what I have done in your life but also in the lives of others, both people you know and situations from scripture. Noah and the boat, Jonah and the whale, Jesus and all the miracles, there is plenty to think on. His testimonies are His word, they are sweeter than honey! (or sugar if you don’t like honey)

Application: What will I do about it?

Plant the scripture in your mind today. Pick something to dwell on and allow the miracles to move in your life today!

Prayer:

Jesus, You sent the Holy Spirit to be a guide for our lives physically and mentally. Today help us meditate on your wonders and bring them to life in our lives. Amen!
