Neal’s Lit Word
Title: Pivot and Prosper
Scripture: Psalm 139:1-4, 23,24
1 O Lord, You have searched me and known me.
2 You know when I sit down and when I rise up;
You understand my thoughts from afar.
3 You scrutinize my path and my lying down,
And are intimately acquainted with all my ways.
4 Even before there is a word on my tongue,
Behold, O Lord, You know it all.
23 Search me, O God, and know my heart;
Try me and know my anxious thoughts;
24 And see if there be any hurtful way in me,
And lead me in the everlasting way.
Observation: What is God saying to me?
There is nothing about you that I did not see or perfectly know even before you took a single breath. I am not surprised by your decisions, I knew what you would decide, struggle with and succeed in while you were being formed in your mother's womb.
I scrutinize your path for your success. Like David who wrote this Psalm, allow me to search your heart. I want to instruct you and point out to you the error of your way. Not for your demise but for your success. I am intimately acquainted with your ways. You can run but you can’t hide. You might as well quit running and receive it.
Application: What will I do about it?
Enjoy the fact that God is intimately acquainted with your past, present and future. Write in your Tracker Journal any places that you have been running or hiding from God or yourself. Invite the intimacy of the Holy Spirit to point out the error of your ways in order that you can pivot and prosper.
Prayer:
Holy Spirit, we invite You to instruct us today. We trust You deeply Lord. You only correct us to empower and prosper us. You desire success in the innermost parts of our being. Lead us Lord. Your servants are open and receptive to Your leading. Jesus, thank You for your broken body and poured out blood. Amen!
I Am Grateful For… a pivot toward prosperity in Spirit.
