Title: “Whole Hearted”
Scripture: 2 Chronicles 25:2
And he (Amaziah) did right in the sight of the Lord, yet not with his whole heart.
Observation: What is God saying to me?
The scripture says in 2 Chronicles 16:9 “The eyes of the Lord search the earth looking for hearts that are fully committed to Him, to strengthen them.
It is good that you do right in My (The Lord’s) sight!
It is good that you seek Me with your heart!
I do not want part of your heart or part of your effort, I want your whole heart. If you were to be in a marriage and only give your spouse part of your heart would that not be wrong? How much more is it wrong to not give the author of your story, your Creator, your whole heart?
Jeremiah 29:13,14 says “13 “You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart. 14 I will be found by you,” declares the Lord, “and will bring you back from captivity.”
I want you to experience the fullness of My love, blessing and prosperity. I, the Lord, search the hearts and minds of people. You can’t hide your heart from Me. Your heart is an open book in My hands.
Application: What will I do about it?
Ask the Holy Spirit to search and examine our hearts pointing out places we are only part way committed to Him. Make note of what you think God points out to you in your Traction Planner or Notebook. Talk with your TrackCrew about these defects and spend time praying and repenting over being half hearted toward God.
Prayer:
Jesus, You went “all in,” heart, soul, mind and strength toward following the plan of heavenly Father. You are our perfect example. Through Holy Spirit’s presence and power working in our lives, teach us to be wholehearted just as You are. Amen!
I Am Grateful For… a whole hearted example found in Christ.
