Title: “Door of 💡 Enlightenment”

Scripture: Ezra 7:10 and 1 Corinthians 4:1

10 For Ezra had set his heart to study the law of the Lord and to practice it, and to teach His statutes and ordinances in Israel.

1 Let a man regard us in this manner, as servants of Christ and stewards of the mysteries of God.

Observation: What is God saying to me?

On what should you set your heart?
What is your most prized possession in this life?
What are you most committed to practicing?

Like Ezra, I encourage and challenge you to set your heart to study and practice the ways and words of God, found in the person and work of Jesus. This is not something you can do in your own understanding. This can only be done through a special empowerment through My Holy Spirit.

The natural and earthly man cannot comprehend the ways and words of My Spirit. This is why I have made way for you to be born again, a spiritual birth that opens the door of enlightenment through mercy and grace.

Do not attempt to comprehend through a natural lens. The flesh cannot hold the mysteries of God just the same as fire cannot hold water.

There is no greater blessing than to be born of My Spirit in order that you can mingle on mission with Me and My mysteries.

Application: What will I do about it?

Fan the flame within you, passionately pursue Me (God) and purposefully practice what I reveal to you. Teach people through your ways and words who I am so that My mystery can be revealed through you. This is the gift of God for all who hold sacred the new birth and blessing of being born again.

Prayer:

Thank You Lord for spiritual awakening. Thank You for entrusting us with the mysteries of God. Teach us to treat this as life's greatest treasure and the gift that can change our lives both now and forever. Amen
