Title: “Fullness Pursuit”

Scripture: Ephesians 3:14-17

For this reason, I bow my knees before the Father, from whom every family in heaven and on earth derives its name, that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with power through His Spirit in the inner man: so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith: and that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all the saints, the width and length and height and depth, and to know the love of Christ which surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled up to all the fullness of God.

Observation: What is God saying to me?

This prayer that Paul prayed is My heart for you. I also want My heart for you to be your heart for others. Would you be willing to bow your knees in humble prayer before Me? Would you long and yearn to know My love and for others to My love to this degree?

I want to grant you fullness according to the riches of My glory.
Do you want that kind of fullness or are you happy with what you have?
I desire that you become dissatisfied with anything less than all that I want to give you. I want to put a “fullness pursuit” in your heart that is content with what you have but also longs for more of My love. How much do you want it? The degree to which you pursue Me is the degree in which you experience Me. I am inviting you to a greater fullness of riches, will you pursue Me?

Application: What will I do about it?

Today I make a declaration: I do not settle for less than what God wants for me. I am in hot pursuit of His fullness and today I will experience more fullness than ever before. Jesus died to bring Me into His presence. Sin and shame have no power over me. Through surrender I am made new. Through pressing in, I experience the love of God in all its fullness.

Prayer:

Holy Spirit, I receive your fullness today. Teach me how to dance with You in perfect harmony. I want to move as one with You and bring your love to those around me. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
