Neal’s Lit Word
Title: “Wall Builders”
Scripture: Isaiah 60:18
Violence will not be heard again in your land, nor devastation within your borders; But you will call your walls salvation and your gates praise.
Observation: What is God saying to me?
Start building the walls today! If you want a land without devastation and violence, if you never want to hear from these things again, then repair the broken down walls.
You will call your walls “salvation” and your gates “praise.”
If you want to build the gates and walls. Meditate on My salvation and lift your voice in adoration (praise).
Application: What will I do about it?
Grumbling and complaining is like praising the darkside. It tears down the walls of salvation and the gates of praise. Today, build the walls of salvation and praise one brick at a time and watch as the violence and devastation dwindle in the days to come. (Whole communities need to do this, but first it starts in our hearts and homes)
Prayer:
Jesus, I want to sing, worship and praise today. Songs sing about what the heart thinks about. Help me to dwell on You today so that my mouth can sing Your praise. Amen!
I Am Grateful For…tiny bricks that build walls of salvation and praise.
