Respond with Celebration

LIT VERSE:
Nehemiah 8:12 And all the people went away to eat, to drink, to send portions and to celebrate with a great festival, BECAUSE they understood the words which had been made known to them.

THOUGHT BREAKDOWN: What do you consider worth celebrating? The ability to comprehend the scripture with open ears and eyes, is a gift from God. This is worth celebrating. When the Spirit makes something known or lets you see, it is worth a celebration.

WHAT IS THE SPIRIT SAYING? There is a time to cry out to me and a time to celebrate what I have done. Sometimes these two occurrences happen on the same day.

WHAT WILL I DO ABOUT IT? It’s time to celebrate more intentionally. We are meant to overflow with joy when God provides, makes way, or clearly directs our steps. Make a “great rejoicing” is what this verse is saying. There are many things to rejoice over… Now's the time to pray and celebrate.

I AM GRATEFUL FOR… revelation and celebration.
