Life is full of things that want to trip us up. Why are you tripping? What are you tripping on? Did you see the roadblock coming and trip over it anyway? Maybe you are navigating the obstacles without the right focus. Maybe you need to change your focus. Don’t make it so much about where you are going, but who you are going with. You want to spend time with those you love. You want to spend time doing the things you love. What do you love most right now?

Where is the Word in the mix of your love life? Do you love devotionals and podcasts more than you love the word? The way you know what you love most often is determined by what you are thinking about most or how much time you spend with what you love.

WHAT IS THE SPIRIT SAYING?

When you love My words, ways, wonders, and works, you will be in a safe zone. It’s not that things won’t come at you. It’s that these things won’t trip you up. You will not be affected by what is thrown at you when you place your highest love, attention, and priority on the Word. Jesus is the word. The bible reveals Jesus to us. It enables the truth of the Spirit and the power of the Spirit to transform our hearts.

WHAT WILL I DO ABOUT IT?

Today I will stay close to the truth found in the lit words God speaks to my heart. These words bring about a safety and security that is free from failure and falling. There is no fear in this kind of love.
